What direction do you want to go in?

Feeling confused about what to do or which path to take? The truth of the matter is, you can't make the best decision about what to do with your life until you have reached a state of inner alignment. We are in a much better situation to choose which direction to go in once we have delved within and have taken the time to understand who we are and why we are here. Do you know what your true passion is? What makes you light up? What makes you lose track of the time while you are doing it? What do you others often notice about you and comment on in a positive light? What makes you feel light and at ease? What do you most look forward to doing? What do you most want to see happen in your life and in the world at large?

Asking questions like these can open our minds to see ourselves and our passions in a very powerful way. We become open to the higher voice within us and to our purpose that we decided upon before we ever entered our physical bodies. We at once become centered and aligned with ourselves and Source energy, allowing us to manifest what we want in our lives in a way that benefits us the most, along with all other beings on the planet. We didn't come here to worry, feel fear or anxiety or doubt, we came here to express ourselves creatively through our divine calling, thus leading to more joyful, peaceful, and loving lives for ourselves and for others.

You are here because you chose to be here, you made a pact prior to coming here with your higher self or Source energy. You knew that you would be coming into a world replete with suffering and contrast, but you also knew that experiencing such things would lead to the evolution and expansion of your being. You did not come here to struggle, but the fact of the matter is, we often need to experience struggle to learn and grow. When we come from a place of inner alignment with who we are and with the Universe itself, we have all the more power to live our lives in a peaceful and joyful manner, regardless of the seemingly troublesome or conflicting circumstances that come our way.

This above all: Do not attempt to be something that you are not. Only strive to be true to who you really are and live out your life as the person you were meant to become. Always live from the cusp of where you want to be; meaning do not go through your days wanting to be someplace else further down the line, but live your days as if you were already your idealized self. Think of yourself as the divine being that you are and with all of your dreams and aspirations close to your heart, with an inner knowing that the manifestation of such dreams and aspirations are in process. You may not know how or when such happenings will occur, but you know that they will come in the most beneficial way possible, courtesy of the Universe.

When we are off our path, we often feel unhappy and unfulfilled, lacking purpose, meaning, and depth in our lives. This is because we have fallen out of our naturally perfect alignment that we came from. All you need to do to get back to your natural state of inspiration is to let go of your egoic wants and desires and start living in line with the authentic you, the inner you who knows no bounds. Shed away the extraneous layers of your personality and just keep things simple for yourself and others. Ask yourself what is most important in your life and once you have figured that out, live in accordance with those most significant passions and dreams.

Do not think of your dreams as occurring off in the future sometime, but think of them as manifesting in your present reality. Feel grateful for everything that you have and everything that you are in your current life situation, and at the same time, feel eager and gratetful for the beauty that is on its way. Whenever you start to feel doubt that something you want to occur is going to happen, repeat the mantra "It's on its way" over and over again until it really sinks in and you have no room left for doubt. Meditate on it, write about it, remind yourself daily and conjure up those feelings of excitment surrounding your dreams and desires, and use visualization methods. Use affirmations every day that keep your thoughts on track with who you are and with what you wish to manifest in your life experience.

Feeling overwhelmed by all of this? Take a few deep breaths and relax. In a state of complete and utter peacefulness and ease, make a list of the things that you really want to occur in your life and all the things that you already have that you want more of. No need to focus on things that you want to eliminate or avoid, as this will only create more energy around creating such things in your life. Focus on what you do want to create, and as long as you continue to keep a clear focus and feel positive feelings surrounding this dream and continue to have faith in the process, your dreams will be sure to manifest in your physical reality.
